Employment

The Legal Center has a fact sheet on disability discrimination in employment and an employment attorney referral list.

Every person's situation is unique, and different laws may impose different or multiple deadlines for pursuing a claim. You should contact an attorney for accurate advice on your particular circumstance.

Due to resource limitations, The Legal Center is unable to assist or represent many individuals with disabilities who encounter disability discrimination in the workplace. As resources allow, we may be able to offer assistance if you are living with HIV/AIDS, or if you are having trouble accessing the state Vocational Rehabilitation system. We may also be able to help if you receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and have a "Ticket To Work" but are experiencing disability discrimination in employment.
